Golfers are also well catered for with an array of local courses and the championship courses of Prestwick and Troon within 16 miles. Visit the seaside town of Largs (11 miles) which has a selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Take a boat trip to the Island of Millport or visit Kelburn Castle and Country Park. Heading further north enjoy a trip to the birthplace of Robert Burns and the setting for his poems, here you can visit the charming thatched cottage, museum, and monument and take a walk over the cobbled Brig o’ Doon or visit Culzean Castle and Country Park (all within 33 miles). The buzzing city of Glasgow is within easy reach, the train station in Dalry is only 2 miles away and you can be in the city in 25 minutes, there are lots of things to see and do, visit the Botanical Gardens and Kelvingrove Art Museum.

Next is the lovely dining area with comfy seating, ideal to enjoy romantic meals together with French doors leading directly out to the decked area.
