Summary: The staff at this hotel, both Reception and at Breakfast, were excellent. Very friendly and willing to assist when required. This hotel is so well located in the centre of Oberstdorf. You could not ask for better. We had a large bedroom with an excellent shower and toilet facility. Nevertheless, two areas to point out. This hotel does not have a lift and therefore is a problem for less physically able personnel. Although we had a large bedroom with all the usual bits and pieces, the room was in real need of some TLC, especially the carpet which was in a pretty poor condition.
