Summary: There was really good communication before my stay from Julian, the owner. The property was immaculately clean on arrival. The studio is very well fitted out with a modern kitchen area, comfy bed and a good sized bathroom/shower room. The floor to ceiling windows at the front of the property, a large ceiling window and glass door, along with the good use of mirrors makes the property feel light. Don't panic though, as there are blinds that are housed at the bottom of the window frames to ensure that you can still have privacy when needed, without having to close the curtains. Laminated information on local pubs, places to eat and beaches to see were all provided in the property.. There are pubs, coffee shops (the Square does excellent takeaway breakfasts) and takeaways. within a minute's walk of the property in the main village square.. I stayed the first weekend of lockdown easing so obviously couldn't go inside to eat anywhere, but was still able to sit outside and enjoy a coffee and a pint. Even though these amenities are close by, please don't think there is any noise from them as the studio is on a road of the square and set back slightly from the road and the village itself is very quiet. The general location of the property is very good for exploring West Cornwall and the amazing beaches and coves that surround the area.. I would happily recommend Archavon and hope to stay there again.
