Positive: The bungalow was simply but beautifully furnished. Kitchen was modern and perfectly clean. Neal's yard hand soap, shower gel and diffuser was a lovely touch. The whole estate was well maintained, well kept grass everywhere and we enjoyed the little patio outside with the flower border and patio set. Bathroom was stylish with plenty of hot water. Recycling bins are neatly arranged outside in a storage bench. Overall we got the impression that it was built and maintained by people who wanted to do a good quality job and not cut corners. The view from the top of the estate is stunning ( there's a bench you can rest up there). Using the shortcut it was less than ten minutes to walk to the beach with views that you just want to drink in. Beach is beautiful, clean, golden sand, rock pools at low tide, with watersport hire, sauna hire ( book ahead ) well equipped beach shops selling fish and chips etc. There's an off-licence come cafe/shop on the green that's open until around 730pm with fresh bacon, sausage and limited veg, camping essentials, etc. Kitchen has plug sockets with usb ports which is helpful and we enjoyed the selection of dvds. Although the bungalow is semi detached, we heard no noise at all from next door.

Negative: There's very little that we didn't like. The double bedroom is quite compact with a large wardrobe taking up most spare spaces. So suggest you either bring a small suitcase or plan to unpack as soon as you arrive.( The beds were really comfy and lush bedding. )The lounge diner is also quite compact which is why it's nice to have the little patio to spill out on . Would appreciate a guide to the cooker ( we worked it out) and heating...(I think the switch for the bathroom's heated towel rail was in the bedroom next door)
