The cosy holiday apartment Sankt Johann II is located in the city centre of Konstanz and impresses by its excellent location in the oldest part of the city, the Niederburg, and by the individually and lovingly designed interiors. It is located in a listed building, which was completely renovated in 2020 and dates back to 1275.
The apartment consists of a living room and bedroom (with a double bed and a sofa bed), a very well equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher, as well as a bathroom and thus offers space for a maximum of 4 persons.
Guests can use the inner courtyard to park bicycles or to make themselves comfortable in the sitting area.

Summary: The host was difficult to communicate with. She did not answer emails or phone calls. She sent instructions in German the day before we arrived, despite knowing that we were British. We collected the keys from the key box but did not know which apartment was the one we were staying in, just trial and error until we found a door the key fitted. We found some towels in the bathroom that were damp and looked as if they had been used. I reported this but did not hear anything from the host. The apartment had lots of knick-knacks and flowers in jam jars creating crowded surfaces that had not been dusted. On the plus side the bed was comfortable, there were some decent restaurants nearby and it was quiet.
