Summary: The 1840s farmhouse is utterly charming and filled with books, art, antiques and interesting objects. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was a highlight of our stay. We had a mechanical issue that has since been resolved but my reason for mentioning it is Randy and Joe’s gracious responsiveness in dealing with it. Randy also provided us with lots of valuable information about area resources and attractions. The master bedroom is the only room with an air conditioner and the house lacks updates such as a dishwasher, but I believe the rental rate reflects this so I have not deducted any stars on account of it.
