Summary: Everything we needed for a few days in Essen. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and great living room. There even is an outside balcony for summertime sitting. We really wished we could have utilized it but a little chilly and damp in December! The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Vielen Dank! One note, if you don't like stairs, there is no elevator. Location is in the middle of town, close to grocery store and several bakeries, which we really enjoyed every morning. I was concerned about noise since it is in the middle of town, but absolutely NOT an issue. Very quiet and calm at night. Definitely would stay here again!
