Positive: We had a fantastic stay at FeWo HoLiDay MAIsoNETTE Allgäu in Ottobeuren, just a short drive from Memmingen airport. The location is ideal — not only is it within walking distance to the charming town center and just 200 meters from two well-stocked supermarkets, but it also offers easy access for day trips to Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and the breathtaking Neuschwanstein Castle. The apartment itself exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with all the amenities exactly as described — it truly felt like a home away from home. A special thanks to our wonderful hosts, Joachim and Patricia, who were incredibly attentive throughout our stay. They checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, which made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. We highly recommend this lovely maisonette to anyone visiting the Allgäu region — whether you're looking to explore nearby alpine destinations or simply enjoy the serenity of a picturesque Bavarian town.

Negative: While we enjoyed our stay overall, we found the check-in and check-out times to be quite restrictive, with limited flexibility from the hosts. We had requested to access the property just 30 minutes earlier, as we were traveling with an elderly family member (76 years old) who had begun the journey at 2 a.m. Unfortunately, our request was declined, and we had to wait until the strict 15:30 check-in time. In our experience, most hotels offer check-in around 14:00 and are usually accommodating when rooms are ready earlier. Additionally, the check-out time of 9:30 a.m. felt rather early, especially compared to other places we’ve stayed, where 11:00 or even 12:00 is more standard. We believe that reviewing these policies — or showing more flexibility when possible — could enhance the overall guest experience and make the property more appealing to a broader range of travelers.
