Exceptional A-frame holiday home with a beautiful view of the lake and the Black Forest. Up to 6 people can recharge their batteries here in pure nature and look forward to a great break.
About the holiday home:
We renovated the house in January 2022. As a result, we have, among other things, a completely new bathroom, new floors, walls and a new kitchen everywhere. Many wooden elements, exposed ceiling beams in natural tones give this roof-only house a very homely character. Large glass fronts on the terrace and lake side create an optimal view of the Erzgruber landscape.
You can choose your favorite spot in the large living and dining area. The highlight is of course the fireplace including firewood. The sofa bed can be converted into a full bed (with mattress). The table is expandable for up to eight people. High chair available if required.
The two bedrooms are on the upper floor. Travel cot for baby/child can be set up.
After numerous activities and experiences at the lake, you can end the evening on the terrace or in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine.
Cooking and Feasting:
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for everyday use. Includes oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher.If you prefer to eat out, you can reach an Italian restaurant in a two-minute walk or the beer garden by the lake, which is also a five-minute walk away and also has delicious food. More Black Forest cuisine can be reached in a few minutes by car.
Thanks to the bread roll delivery service from a regional bakery, you can also have bread rolls delivered for breakfast.
Scenery and activities:
The lake (Nagoldtalsperre) surrounded by beautiful Black Forest firs is ideal for walking, hiking and on warm days for swimming, stand-up paddling and sunbathing. Whether bicycle tours, mountain bikes, inliners, pedal-go-cards, to sleigh tours, snowshoe hikes... many things are possible, depending on the weather.
When there is snow there are several ski lifts and cross-country ski runs in the vicinity.

The best way to get to other destinations in the Black Forest National Park without traffic jams is by car through picturesque Black Forest landscapes. Here you will find, for example, the well-known Lothar Trail with a panoramic trail or the All Saints Waterfalls. A travel guide and brochure with tips on the region are available.

Would you like to take it easy? How about a very private stay in our outdoor sauna house with a great panoramic view? The sauna is located in the garden of the main house Tamara. This is 40m from your accommodation. For our guests it can be booked with 20% discount in addition.
General, parking and other:
The house is available to you completely privately, including a terrace, garden and barbecue.
You can park for free in front of our main building Tamara.

The entire laundry package (towels, bed linen, tea towels), coffee beans and firewood is included. Washing machine and dryer are also available in the separate laundry room in the basement of your holiday home Löwe.
In about 8 minutes you can reach shops for groceries and daily needs.The next larger city is Freudenstadt with Germany's largest marketplace and numerous opportunities for shopping.
The bus stop (Erzgrube Schernbacher Strasse) is an 8-minute walk away. From Freudenstadt, for example, this is approached about 4 times a day. The timetable for this can be accessed via the Deutsche Bahn website
Please note:
In this resort, it is important to us that it remains relatively quiet and, above all, that people don't talk loudly outside after 9 p.m. This is laid down in our house rules so that everyone in the neighborhood can relax. We now also have high-speed internet in the house. You will be able to make calls with D1 and D2 via mobile radio.O2 has no reception in this area
Our cottages and the sauna are on a slope, hence the beautiful view. You have to walk 70 steps from the car park to your holiday home Löwe. But it's worth it ;)
Everything may not be perfect, as each of us has different feelings. For example, the mattress is too hard for one and too soft for another. Please let us know if there is anything we can do better and we will try to implement it for you as soon as possible.
