Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The apartment is modern and spacious, and the kitchen is very well equipped. We found plenty of pots, pans, and nice dishes. We loved the nice espresso machine. The three bedrooms are all of equal size with comfortable double beds. We liked the location in walking distance to the lake, easy access to the train station and the local busses. There is ample parking if traveling by car. The local supermarket is basically an elevator ride away. For all this convenience, we wouldn't hesitate to book Heimathafen again on a future visit to the Bodensee.

Negative: We would have liked a few more supplies. There were only two dishwasher tabs and two dish towels for the whole week. That is something we don't want to shop for when traveling by plane. We also missed a microwave oven for reheating food. When asked to separate the trash, there should be enough supplies (compost bag, "gelber Sack") to do so. Again, we didn't want to buy this for just a week.
