Summary: Everything was as described in the listing. The house is gorgeous, very clean, and had all of the amenities that we required. We had a very nice welcome when we arrived and got a tour of the house. We came from Heidelberg, at Christmas time, to this beautiful house in the hills of Odenwald. It was so quiet and the stars were absolutely gorgeous. Also, this area is situated very close to many castles. We were thankful for that because we love visiting castles. I recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet getaway in any season. There is more going on in the summertime in Wald-Michelbach, but we enjoyed the winter time as well. If you have a manual transmission in your car/rental be ready to drive the hills and switchbacks. There is lots of fun driving in the area. Thank you to the host who provided a beautiful home with an amazing view!
