Summary: This home was simply perfect for us. We were visiting from the US and wanted a small German town experience, and this was such a lovely home to stay in, particularly for a visit to the Christmas market! Michelstadt is a beautiful town and the location of this home is RIGHT in the center of the old town, steps from anything you could need! One lesson - you need reservations for dinner (our mistake!), so don't forget to plan ahead. We also walked to Erbach and enjoyed sight-seeing and eating there as well. Many running trails nearby which were beautiful. The host was incredibly lovely, very responsive and helpful with suggestions. The home is well cared for and our kids LOVED it as a home base for our stay. We hope to visit again someday!
