Das Ferienhaus Birkenheim ist ein kleines, ruhiges freistehendes Haus mit kurzen Wegen (ca. 250 Meter) in die Natur. Man hat aber auch die Möglichkeit in und am Haus Ruhe und Erholung zu finden. Durch die Umgebung hat man schnell das Gefühl zu entschleunigen und zu entspannen.
Das Haus bietet auf 52 m² Platz für bis zu 2 Personen, mit einem gemütlichen Schlafzimmer, einer voll ausgestatteten Küche und WLAN. Das Badezimmer erreichen Sie über die geschützte und überdachte Gartenterrasse. Zwei Fahrräder stehen Ihnen zur Verfügung, und ein Grill lädt zu entspannten Abenden im Freien ein. Auch ein Arbeitsplatz, eine Waschmaschine und ein Parkplatz vor Ort sind vorhanden. Der Zugang erfolgt stufenfrei und per Self-Check-in.
Der Ort Sandkrug ist zu Fuß (20 Minuten) und mit dem Fahrrad (5 Minuten) schnell zu erreichen. Im näheren Bereich des Ferienhauses gibt es nette Cafés und Gaststätten, die unserer Meinung nach sehr einladend sind. Von Sandkrug aus ist man schnell in Oldenburg oder Bremen und kann diese schönen und attraktiven Städte genießen. Durch die zentrale Lage von Sandkrug kann man auch sehr schnell und unkompliziert die wunderbare Nordseeküste mit z.B. dem Weltnaturerbe Wattenmeer erkunden. Man ist aber auch sehr schnell in der Wildeshauser Geest mit seinen urigen und gewachsenen kleinen Orten entlang dem Fluss Hunte. Auf der Hunte kann man mit einem eigenen oder mit einem Leihkanu/Kajak die Natur genießen. Oder man genießt direkt vor Ort die Osenberge, eine natürliche Erhebung mit seinen ausgiebigen Wander- und Radwegen. Im Nachbarort gibt es ein Freizeitzentrum mit Minigolf, Schwimmen und Kletterpark. In der Nähe sind zudem einige Reitställe, in denen man nach Rückfrage Aktivitäten buchen kann.
