Summary: The picture represents a front desk reception, when in reality there is no desk. We were struggling to get room access because the self check in website was rejecting my passport number. Fortunately an attendant soon showed up and got us access to the room. Things were fine after that. I specifically book hotels and not aparthotels because there is a reception during normal check-in hours.
