Positive: Pleasantly quiet location in attractive Annweiler, surrounded by the Pfälz forest. Good breakfast choices and excellent restaurant with an Italian dimension. Reasonably large and adequately equipped bedroom with practical bathroom.

Negative: Mattress and pillow were adequate, but could be improved.

Summary: Enjoyable stay in a well run hotel to enjoy local cultural sights and autumn walking in the forest.
