Do I have to bring towels, shampoo, etc?
The towels are provided as well as linens; however, body soap, and shampoo/conditioner are not. Items also NOT provided: dish detergent, laundry detergent, unlimited supply of toilet paper (only 2 rolls max for each of the bathrooms), or hair dryer. I do provide an iron.
What is required for check in?
As a 100% legal business and as per Colombian law, you will need to provide your original, physical passport upon check in (not a copy). For Colombian citizens, your cédula will be needed. Every underage person entering must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Can I do early check-in or late check-out?
We can sort it out! If you need either of these plans arranged, please let me know with at least 24 hours advance notice. If there are no other bookings on the day of your check out, then it shouldn’t be a problem.
Is it okay if I arrive very late at night?
No problem! There is a 24/7 doorman to welcome you and the keys are always stored in the lockbox on the door to which I’ll give you the combination upon arrival.
Is the water from the tap drinkable?
Yes! Throughout the entire city of Medellin you will find pure, safe, drinkable tap water even for those new to the city.
Is this listing legal?
YES - All Airbnbs in Medellin that offer short term rentals (less than 30 days) must be registered at the Registro Nacional de Turismo. My apartment does have an RNT, which I renew every year, and I pay the corresponding taxes on it. It’s always best to book a place that has this confirmed piece of information so as to avoid any issues with the host or authorities.
The entire apartment and all listed amenities are yours to enjoy. There are no extra costs involved. There is staff and surveillance working 24/7 in the building to make you feel safe at all times.
