Positive: Loved the tranquil country setting, no road noises, surrounded by animals, lush greenery. Just lovely. A quaint and spacious cottage attached to a farmhouse with cozy homey vibe. Hubby loved the welcome crisps though no one else got to sample them! The kids loved the billiard table, even though there was only one cue and it was missing its tip. Casino the horse was very friendly and enjoyed the apple our daughters fed him. The morning ducks were adorable and entertained the children for good while.

Negative: As much as we loved the property it was showing signs of wear and it wouldn’t take much to spruce it up; a deep clean, cobweb removal, fresh coat of paint and a bit of maintenance would make this place an absolute knockout. A back panel would be a great addition to one of the kitchen cupboards to conceal a cavity that looks like it could be a home to critters (not saying that it is, it just looks like it could be). The beds felt small, which was a surprise given how large the rooms are.
