Summary: I booked Portofino for Thanksgiving week with my son and to visit family who live in the area. The location is spectacular, with one side having a view of the marina and the other side of the hotel having a view of the ocean. You could hear the sea lions at night, which was just magical. The rooms were nice, clean, and stylish. My only warning is that the sofa bed was a bit worn out, but my son said he slept well. The restaurant on the property was pretty busy, so make sure you give yourself enough time to eat and have a reservation if you plan to eat there. Other than that, lovely stay - very walkable area by the ocean and the Redondo Pier.
