Welcome to our home! Our 3 bedroom house, located in the beautiful area of Herne Hill, is perfect for those travelling with children. The neighbourhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. With the nearest train station just a 10 minute walk away, exploring further afield could hardly be easier. Wooden floors and high ceilings bring this beautiful space to life, with the added luxury of a patio and green garden filled with natural beauty. We hope you enjoy your stay! ## Space Our beautiful and spacious home is perfect for those travelling with little ones in tow. Ideally located in charming and friendly Herne Hill just a 10 minute walk from Herne Hill station, and under a 15 minute walk from North Dulwich station! There are 3 bedrooms with enough space to sleep 7; ideal for families - lots of room for everyone! Our welcoming living area is the heart of the home. Sit back on one of our sofas and enjoy our beautiful fireplace lined with brick, with a carved wooden frame. With a matching blue sofa, two armchairs and a foot stool, there’s plenty of space here for all the family to kick back and relax in comfort! With wooden floors and big windows, the room is bright and spacious just like the rest of the house. Plants are dotted around the area, making it a welcoming and inviting space. On the opposite side of the open plan room is the dining area, with a table seating 4 and a fantastic decorative fireplace! There is even a chalk board and a miniature trampoline for the kids to entertain themselves while the adults sit down for a well deserved meal! Double glass doors spill light into the room and open up onto the patio. Open up the doors and find yourself engulfed in the beauty of my magical garden! The wooden patio is raised, with two separate seating areas. Relax on the sun loungers surrounded by lovely potted plants, or enjoy some delicious food and drink in the summer sunshine on the lower level decking, at the table seating 4. My garden is a rare gem in that it not only has a patio but a large stretch of green lawn surrounded by trees and natural beauty. This an idyllic place to unwind and spend some quality time with family and friends. Cooking for the littles ones has never been easier. This kitchen has everything you need - all the appliances are modern and easy to use, including an oven, a dishwasher, a full sized fridge and a kettle. There is even another dining table in the kitchen, perfect for grabbing a quick bite to eat. The first bedroom is a twin children’s room, with two single beds and a bookshelf filled with children’s books. All of the beds are made up with fresh, luxury linens to ensure a great night’s sleep! The second bedroom has a comfy double bed, and a toddler’s bed for the little one! Quirky patterns bring warmth and energy to this spacious room. You’ll also find plenty of storage space so you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away - no need to live out of suitcases. Filled with splashes of colour and lots of natural light, the third bedroom has another luxurious double bed for a guaranteed great night’s sleep. There are toys stacked up to the ceiling on shelves for all of the kids to enjoy! Our gorgeous bathroom is the perfect place to freshen up - kids can enjoy bath-time in the large tub and there’s a fantastic rain shower too! Fluffy white towels and toiletries are provided. You won’t have to queue up in the mornings for your turn; there is another restroom in the property just down the stairs! High chairs and travel cots can be provided on request. Our property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. ## Access Guests have access to the entire property and garden. ## Interaction My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know London like the back of their hand! Tesco express and Sainsburys local are just next to Herne Hill station. Brockwell park and Ruskin park are lovely local parks. Both have paddling areas which are great for kids on hot summer days! Take the kids for a day out at Brockwell Lido and a dip in the pool; the perfect way to enjoy the summer sunshine! It’s only a 15 minute walk away! Alternatively, take a ride on the Brockwell Park miniature railway, only a few minutes from here. This location is great for transport links, and is only a 15 minute bus ride to Brixton. Situated smack bang in the centre of south London, Brixton is a go-to for foodies, artists and music fans. This cultural neighbourhood is filled with a fantastic sense of community. Head to the bustling and vibrant Brixton Village and Brixton Market and choose from one of the many, tiny restaurants there. This bustling corner is a community within itself, with over 100 local and independent businesses who have transformed this former arcade. You can find everything from burgers (Honest Burgers) to Thai (KaoSarn), from Spanish (Casa Morita) to Chinese (Mama Lan) - there’s something for everyone and food from all over the world. For something a bit unusual, Pop Brixton has created a hub of restaurants - the twist? They’re all housed in shipping containers! Cosy? Definitely. Delicious food? Absolutely. For films, the Ritzy cinema is where locals go. For a night out without the kids, and for those in search of a party, Brixton’s famous live venues, including the Brixton Academy and Hootananny are where it’s at. ## Transit Herne Hill is the nearest station to the property, just a 10 minute walk away; this connects you to Victoria, and also Blackfriars, Farringdon, and St Pancras via the Thameslink. North Dulwich station is just a 15 minute walk away, and Brixton station is a 25 minute walk. There are also many buses to Waterloo and Elephant and Castle.
