This 1920's newly renovated home is a perfect stay for a family, or anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Des Moines! This Craftsman style bungalow has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a stocked kitchen, a great living space, & a cozy front porch. Enjoy the beauty of the home as well as the peacefulness of the urban farm located in both the side and backyard.

We remolded the home in 2015 all while maintaining the historical integrity (original woodwork with wood floors throughout). The house features updated bathrooms, updated lighting, fresh paint throughout, a spruced up kitchen, as well as new drywall. The main level has 2 bedrooms (both with queen size beds), 1 bathroom, the kitchen, a dining area, a large family room, and a front porch. We finished the attic and made it into a master suite. The upstairs attic is spacious and has 2 full size beds as well as a crib, so it's also a great place for kids to sleep. The space is large and has a beautiful walk in closet as well as a bathroom. NOTE - The height of the ceiling in the attic is low in some areas.

We have a queen size air mattress available (stored in the upstairs walk-in closet) for use.

We have done our best to make the house child friendly. The house has toys, children's books, and games. In the upstairs closet, we have a high chair, Rock & Play, diaper changing pad, bumbo seat, infant bath tub, boppy pillow, and infant swing. Feel free to use these for your kids, and please store them back in the closet when you are finished.

The backyard is fenced and has a table and chairs. There is also a charcoal grill for you to use.
