Our fully renovated, ground floor apartment in 2016 is perfect for people who do not want or cannot use a lift. Open the large sliding window and you are directly on the sea wall just a few meters from the spacious Westendse sandy beach. Just perfect for everyone but especially for people with small children, older people or people with disabilities. Up to 8 people sleep and live comfortably in the more than 125 m2 apartment. You load your goods in and out quickly via the private back door. No messing around with a too small elevator. If you want to cycle, you can park it in our spacious bicycle shed. You can use the garage and therefore do not have to look for a parking space. The front door is private for this apartment, the other apartments in the block use their own access.
Westende-Bad beach is one of the quiet beaches on the Belgian coast with room for everyone. If you want some more action, the seaside towns of Nieuwpoort and Ostend are nearby and easily accessible by bike or tram. During the summer months there are many activities for both children and adults. And every evening you can enjoy a beautiful sunset from your couch in the apartment. In Westende-Bad there are many nice restaurants and pleasant shops. If you want something different, take your bike and you will be in Nieuwpoort in no time. Don't feel like cycling, the 'coastal tram' brings you quickly and cheaply to Nieuwpoort or Ostend.
Maybe you prefer to cook yourself, that is perfectly possible with the fully equipped kitchen in the apartment. You will find an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. Do not worry about the dishes because there is a dishwasher. Sand and seawater can take a toll on your clothes and towels. You can then wash and dry it in the washing and drying machine.
The bathroom is equipped with a spacious rain shower. In the master bedroom you will find a whirlpool bath. Everything brand new.
There is a spacious bedroom with whirlpool and toilet, a bathroom with shower, a second separate toilet, a bicycle garage and car garage. The rest of the ground floor apartment is a large space. The large second bedroom with 6 beds continues into the kitchen, which then becomes a dining and sitting room. This is a very pleasant space for people with children, but less if you want more privacy (6 people sleep in 1 room). There is a map attached to the photos that makes this clear.
Pets are more than welcome in our apartment. However, we ask that the owners remove all hair and dust from the pets themselves, otherwise we will charge the extra cleaning.
You can use the WiFi internet connection. The Philips Smart TV has a digital TV connection with many channels. With the Smart part of the TV you can enjoy YouTube, Netflix, ... You can also use the WiFi printer for printing tickets for exhibitions, amusement parks, ...
In the basement there is an additional relaxation area of 30 m2. You will find a seating area, craft table and a TV projector. Ideal as a children's playroom or to watch a film together on an extra large screen. The seating area can be transformed into a bed for 2 people if the common room at the top is a bit too busy. Please note, a maximum of 8 people can stay.
In the holiday season we only accept weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday.
This apartment is fully in order with the Flemish Accommodation Decree and the corresponding fire safety standards.
The closed car garage is available 50 meters from the apartment for 50 Euro / week (only weekly rental).
