Positive: 1. The location of this accommodation is excellent—we were even lucky enough to see the Royal Horse Guards riding past the front gate of Buckingham Palace one morning as we headed out. There are also plenty of great restaurants near Victoria Station. However, do note that Victoria Station doesn’t have elevators, so carrying luggage can be a bit inconvenient. 2. The kitchen is well equipped, with a washing machine, dishwasher, colander, electric kettle, and a large refrigerator. 3. The customer service team responds quickly, is polite and helpful, and kindly honored our request not to be placed in a basement room. 4. Overall, the value for money is acceptable, although the place is somewhat dated.

Negative: 1. It would be great if the cleaning staff could pay a bit more attention after guests check out. There were only two teabags left in the kitchen—we weren’t sure whether they were provided by the host or left by previous guests. 2. We also noticed that the trash can lid was already broken when we arrived. 3. The cleaning frequency could also be improved; currently, it’s only offered after a stay of more than seven days, which seems a bit too infrequent for a property with a kitchen. 4. If there are plans for future renovations, we’d recommend switching to firmer mattresses, adding a heated towel rail, and replacing the worn-out rubber seals on the shower doors.
