Travel Purpose: business

Positive: A characterful hotel in easy reach of what we needed. The rooms are quirky, spacious, with a comfortable bed, large shower and useful storage.

Negative: Some of the fixtures and fittings are beginning to look tired. The handle on shower was broken; the pumps on the shower gel bottles didn't work; the heating controls didn't seem to do anything, and there were signs of wear and tear in the lifts and communal areas. Each room is different in layout, but my room this trip was a bit too dark in places where you'd find it useful (near the full length mirror, for example).
