Positive: The hotel was very convenient for the train station and the historic centre of the city. We had to leave early on the last day but it was easy to have a breakfast and check out. The room was well equipped and there was a large table, which was useful. It was welcome to have a bath as well as a shower. The ability to use the drinks machine in the foyer in the evening was a good feature. The breakfasts were very good.

Negative: The layout of the room was rather poor. The main problem was that there was not enough space around the double bed, especially on the window side. This meant there was no bedside table on that side. There was very little space to access the bed from that side. This was made worse by the TV being on a wheeled stand, shoehorned into the space between the bed and the wall, making it harder to get into the bed. The TV was difficult to use, which made this obstruction more annoying. It would have been better not to have a TV in the room. Otherwise the living room arrangement was quite good, but there was not adequate cupboard space for the equipment. Separating the toilet from the bathroom was not ideal.

Summary: Enjoyed a comfortable stay, but a better room layout would have made it better.
