Summary: The hotel is brand new and everything looks clean. But when we arrived on Thursdays around 22:30 at the hotel we had some problems. When we arrived, we tried to park the car inside but it was full. We stopped the car outside and it took 5 minutes for the receptionist to open the door for us. When we were inside there were three people in the reception. They were young (it was 3 of them) and really meant. When we asked if we can park inside they look at each other with fraught face and say “FULL, FULL”. And didn’t suggest anything. We were so tired because of the trip and asked where we could park then, they simply said “OUTSIDE”, without any indications. It was my first time in Bochum so I had no clue what to do. After 30 minutes of searching in the middle of the night we found a parking space about 4 squares away from the hotel. Another occasion was, we leaved the hotel around 07:30 to an event and left the towers on the floor so they could change for us. When we arrived at night the room was not clean and the towers were not changed. So, we went to the reception and no one was there to help. We waited until someone came and gave us towers. After those occasions, we decided to not pay for the Breakfast or anything inside the hotel. We did not want to talk or say anything toward those bullies in the reception.

Summary: Typical urban area, a lot of traffic, the train passes right by, advantages: close to the center, close to aldi and edeka, a lot of shops from the Middle East (for those who like it).

Summary: Nice check in service at the reception desk. Clean spacey room with basic interior. Queen sized bed with a firm mattress as I like it. Unfortunately the bathroom in room 304 smelld of mould. After I’ve showered I left som clothes hanging in the bathroom and the next day even they smelled of mould.
I added breakfast and it was as good as promised!

Summary: I was only in Bochum for a concert. The hotel seems rather new, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. I didn't know the red-light district was a block away, but there is no noise or spillover from that area. The breakfast is advertised as environmentally sustainable. It's a bit overpriced, but there are not a lot of breakfast options nearby. It's close to the shopping districts and a couple good breweries. They also sell alcohol in the lobby, reasonably priced.
