Positive: Beautiful house with loads of character. Set in a beautiful rural location which was peaceful and quiet, but also only a short drive from the local supermarket. The house has a variety of bedroom configurations,our teenage boys loved the attic bedroom especially. It was great having several living areas so that our family could spread out and have some peace and quiet away from everyone else as needed. Wonderful kitchen/ dining space with a beautiful aga. Lovely outdoor space. Beautiful walks from the house. The owners Mike and Tracey were incredibly accommodating. Mike met us to show us around and Tracey went above and beyond to help us out with baking equipment as we had to make a wedding cake during our stay! Thank you for being such generous hosts.

Negative: There are only 2 showers in the property, both in en-suite bathrooms which was tricky to manage at times. It would be useful to have a shower in the main shared bathroom rather than just a bath.

Summary: Perfect property for a large family get together.
