Summary: My husband and I stayed here for two nights with our dog to visit Bar Harbor. The staff were all super friendly - really couldn’t have been nicer. The reason for my low review is because we found a live bedbug on our second night. I captured it and took it to the front desk and Sam took it very seriously, acted immediately, and moved us to a different room at the opposite end of the hotel, after she personally inspected the new room to ensure it was clean. They also refunded our stay. This can understandably happen after a busy season with so many travelers but this bug was full grown and just chilling on my pillow, telling me their pest control policy may not be up to par. We would have left and found another hotel but it was 10:30pm and we were traveling with our dog. We inspected the new room and didn’t find any evidence of bugs. The room was clean and comfortable.
