Summary: The hotel and breakfast was nice as was the staff. However, my friend had to cancel the trip so I needed to cancel the second night of my two night stay. As I had prepaid my accomodation through hotels.com, I was told I couldn’t get a reimbursement for my cancelled night. As such now I know not to book my stays through hotels.com nor stay at Holiday Inn in the future as when plans change, there is no leeway to get a reimbursement unless you cancel your whole stay before travelling so if something happens last minute, you end up paying for your reservation even if you don’t use it.
