Summary: We had a lovely stay at Hotel Kachelberg. It was well run and comfortable. Our room was extremely well presented, very clean and with everything we could have wished for, including a small fridge. The food at breakfast was delicious and with a really good choice. There is an outside area with tables and chairs and we enjoyed a pleasant hour or two later one evening with fellow quests. We would definitely return to the hotel. As a bonus there was a lovely restaurant not more than 20 meters away.

Summary: Pretty looking hotel in a beautiful neighborhood. Hotel was clean and parking was easily available.
No lift in the hotel.
There was no shampoo in the room.
There was no coffee, tea, water cooker (for boiling water) in the room. So, you cannot make your own coffee/tea in the room. You need to go to the breakfast area (during opening times only) to get hot water/coffee/tea for an extra charge (not free).
Staff was not at all friendly. I was given rude looks for any questions asked.

Summary: Right next to the river. Property has limited check in times. There is no restaurant available on site but 3 nearby. Rooms are good size. Fast internet. Adequate free parking. Netto supermarket about 1.2 km away (Closed on Sunday).

Summary: Great location just above the Mosel River in the midst of Mosel wine country, Vineyards all around climbing the near vertical hillsides of the surrounding mountains, German and Euro clientele, very little English spoken. Excellent copious German breakfast. Car ride to find restaurants. Great value and perfect for anyone looking for a German experience that is not a chain hotel.
