Summary: Opposite the station, this large hotel is also within walking distance of the Altstadt. The rooms are quite basic but are comfortable. The sink is in the bedroom not the bathroom, but I didn't care. Breakfast is the usual continental style, but very nice scrambled eggs with bacon on offer also. Another bonus is a free bus pass around the Altstadt! Service was pleasant. A warning to travellers : after morning, reception doesn't open until 2. The only downside for me was poor WiFi. I'd stay again though.
