Positive: Gorgeous hotel - Portuguese charm with modern flair and facilities. Newly refurbished to a very high standard. Possibly the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in! Bathrooms well appointed with a lovely, powerful shower. However, it was the staff who were the highlight - Luis was adorable and helpful when checking us in and Louisa in the stunning mezzanine bar was so knowledgeable about the wines and helped us choose a lovely glass each. The were both charming, professional and attentive - a credit to this hotel. We most definitely recommend this hotel and will come back soon.

Negative: It is important to note that if you have walking/mobility difficulties you explain this when booking as the rooms are on a half landing above or below the lift so there may be stairs.
