Built under commission from Empress Victoria Friedrich and completed in 1893, it is today one of the most impressive German castles and offers its guests living history to touch and feel. Exclusive furnishings and an impressive collection of antiques and paintings from the private estate of the Empress Viktoria. With it two restaurants " Viktoria" and "Enrico d´Assia" the castle make sure to meet all tastes with different cuisines and colors. If the weather allows it, guests can eat on the terrace overlooking the golf course and gardens. English afternoon tea is served in the library at weekends. Furthermore the hotel provides a fantastic starting point for hiking and bicycling tours throughout the Hoch-Taunus Nature Park.
