Summary: Odd sort of a place - completely deserted by 9pm each of the four nights we were there. Reception was supposed to be open until 9pm but when we returned with keys to the hotel bikes (€9 a day) at 8.45, it seemed long since deserted. Having said that, the service was always very friendly and helpful. There's no a/c but it's quiet other than for the sound of the masts of the yachts nearby. Gorgeous location and breakfast was superb, especially the days we sat out on the terrace overlooking the estuary. Beautiful design but the indoor pool was not really useable. The glass roof made it feel like an oven in there. Very expensive for what it was, we thought, though even so, we would consider it again.
