Summary: We have enjoyed several stays at this hotel in the past, but clearly this time the hotel was having major staffing problems along with showing major signs of wear and tear. Our room though cozy had an easy chair that I sat in and needed to get my partner to pull me out as the springs are totally gone; the chairs in the dining room were in a similar state. We were with our friends so we were a group of eight people and had major problems with dinners in the dining room and sent food back several times. There were also issues with the person on the front desk as they were obviously inebriated with alcohol. The whole experience made me very sad as we’ve had such wonderful times there in the past; hopefully they can take this feedback and get the hotel back up to the level. It needs to be to be competitive with all of the hostelries in the area.
